The HV-FIA 3000 uses fluorescence immunoassay technology with a guided testing workflow. Depending on the assay, the required sample is prepared with the supplied test system, loaded into the test cartridge and placed into the analyser for measurement.
Prepare
Prepare the specimen according to the individual assay instructions
Load
Read the test information/ID card where applicable, prepare the sample-buffer mixture and load the specified volume into the cartridge.
Result
The analyser displays the result after the assay-specific testing period and can print the result.
More Than a Positive or Negative Result
For selected assays, instrument-based quantitative or objective result interpretation can provide a numerical measurement rather than relying solely on visual interpretation. This can be useful when the clinician needs to assess a biomarker, monitor change over time or combine the result with the patient’s history and other clinical findings.
