Product Description

The Biopanda FIV Ab & FELV Ag Combined Rapid Test qualitatively detects Feline Immunodeficiency Virus Antibody (FIV Ab) and Feline Leukaemia Virus Antigen (FELV Ag) from a cat’s whole blood, serum or plasma specimen.

Test procedure

1. Collect a sample of the cat’s whole blood. If using serum or plasma, separate from blood as soon as possible to avoid haemolysis.

2. Open the cassette from the foil pouch and position it on a flat, clean surface.

3. Transfer 1 drop of the specimen (approx 10µl) into each specimen well on the cassette, followed immediately by 2 drops of assay buffer (approx 80µl). Start the timer.

4. Results are read between 5-10 minutes. After 15 minutes results are considered invalid.
